Industry-wide suppliers Camira Fabrics design and manufacture commercial, contract textiles for education, healthcare, transport, office, hospitals, hotel and leisure. Requiring to relocate their London showroom Manchester-based office fit out specialist Spatial Office Environments won the contract to provide Camira’s new showroom.
With literally thousands of samples, Camira required bespoke storage in the form of specially-sized drawers to accommodate the many sample cards and a centrepiece hero wall of samples on solid brass pegs. A working space also required a reception desk incorporating into the design. The showroom is located in Clerkenwell, literally, the epicentre for London’s architects and designers and so required a speciality kitchen area with complimentary island unit to host the showroom’s visitors.
